ENROLLED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORENCE
(Degree Courses, PhD Students, Interuniversity cultural agreements, Foreign Office grant holders, Single courses)
From
the academic year 2008-2009, foreign students from Degree Courses
of the University of Florence are entitled to attend the Italian
L2 courses organised by the CLA. The courses, which are matched
with the European
Common Reference Frame for languages
are at levels A2, B1,
B2, C1.
The CLA organises two types
of course: Praxis courses and Special supplementary
courses.
For admission to the courses, students undergo a self assessment and a PLACEMENT INTERVIEW with the teachers.
DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSES
Enrolment
in the Praxis and Special courses gives students the right
to the following services for a period of 3 months:
- admission
to the Mediateche (resource centres and language laboratories)
- access
to the language advisory service
- participation in language laboratory
active audio/comparative sessions
- participation in workshops
- participation in Chat Time
- participation in Tandem meetings
(language exchange sessions with native Italian speakers)
- admission
to the tests for the Language
Proficiency certificates.
Italian language activities
Course
attendance fees are:
- Praxis Course of B1 level: 36 euros
- Praxis Course of B2, C1
levels and special Courses: 52 euros
Students enrolled in the Single Courses must pay a fee of 180 euros to attend each course.

Students who are absent in the first week without previous notification (Fax 055.45.98.910) are cancelled from the course.
If
you wish to extend the enrolment for 6 months exclusively for
the Mediateca services, you can do so by paying a charge of
16 euros.
